Cocktail of the Weekend: The Velvet Edie
3 parts Vermouth
1 part Lemon Juice
1/2 part Simple Syrup
2 Raspberries
2 mint leaves
+
Place 1 mint leaf and 1 fresh raspberry in a cocktail shaker, and gently muddle along with the simple syrup
+
Add the vermouth and lemon juice to the shaker and then fill with ice
+
Shake the mixture to combine and then strain into a glass filled with ice
+
Garnish with the remaining raspberry and mint leaf (optional)
